My fav boba drink is here!!! Love coming to one of their locations whenever I'm up in seattle

This is the third of the four Don't Yell At Me locations in and around Seattle I've visited and my 6th or 7th time visiting in general over the last couple of months. The reason I continue to go? Constantly great boba and decent pricing all packaged into one drink. This location is no different and continues the trend of DYAM having excellent boba. Original Milk Tea, 25% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Golden Honey Pearl ($6.25) - The default is organic whole milk for the dairy element, but they offer lactose-free milk for no upcharge. The dairy flavor actually isn't that apparent in the drink since it's so well constructed. This allows the kind of toasty/smoky flavor of the tea to really shine. I usually get 50% sweet at the other locations, but I decided to drop it down to 25% this time, which makes the drink just slightly sweet, making each sip pleasantly balanced. Less ice is perfect; after completely cooling down the drink, there are only a couple of pieces left over. The golden boba, as with the U District and Kirkland locations (most of the time), is perfectly bouncy and chewy, smooth rather than sticky. And similar to those locations, for some reason there is decent size difference between the largest and smallest pearls. Still, the texture remains the same between the sizes, so I can't complain. Milk Tea Rating: 5/5 Boba Rating: 5/5 Note: This is the only location that doesn't have operational order kiosks, so you actually have to talk to the bobarista. The horror! I'm still exploring the area, but so far I've found that Capitol Hill is really spoiled by having at least three good boba shops in close proximity to each other. Firstly Hi Tea, for when I spend a little too much on a meal, but I still want a decent/good drink. ComeBuy Tea if I want high quality, fresh brewed tea, but boba that's a bit on the sticky side. Or DYAM, with both pricing and tea quality in between the other two places, but with the best boba texture. Bathrooms - One unisex room that requires a code Edit: Okay, so I visited again and got the Traditional MT, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Golden Honey Pearl ($6.85 now, looks like they raised the price of the boba by 10 cents and the drink by 50 cents in the last week or two). It tastes kind of like a more earthy, malty soy milk with some caramel notes. Still pretty solid. I don't know what was up with the boba this time. The pearls were misshapen, all different sizes ranging from small to normal, with some sticking together into large globs and others having rough edges on them. Not to mention the boba being quite a bit firmer than usual. This drink would normally warrant a 4 rating. My overall rating still remains a 5 but my impression of DYAM has kind of dropped a bit due to the inconsistency between visits.

3000th review! I saw the name of this place, the wacky logo and when I found out it was a bubble tea place I had to go! The name of this place is just good advice in general. I say many of our problems today could possibly be solved if people did less yelling and more bubble tea consumption ;) We got a strawberry smoothie and a taro milk, both with honey boba. We thoroughly enjoyed both drinks and the boba was nice and chewy. I appreciated that they used organic milk and fresh taro in my drink. It really took the drink to the next level. The shop also has some clothing for sale too in case you want it known that you don't want to be yelled at.

I prefer the Original Milk Tea. I actually like that this place does really little sugar percentage (less than 25%, which is rare). The Traditional Milk Tea is still good, but more herbal tasting! Bathroom has code.

My cousin and I were craving boba during our day trip to Seattle. We found this place when we were looking up places for boba. You can park on the street but there's also a fast food chain right next door but park at your own risk since there's security guards. Drinks: - Pink Lychee Smoothie Topped with Cheese Foam: This drink was not too sweet since I did lower the sweetness level. I also enjoyed the cheese foam it was topped with. The boba was soft and I also liked the lychee chunks that came with the drink. - Original milk tea with brown sugar boba: My cousin enjoyed her drink. She said it tasted like a regular milk tea. My cousin wanted to know the difference between their original milk tea and their traditional milk tea. They stated that the original milk tea is much creamier, which she likes. The workers were friendly and I also liked the aesthetic the place had.

Milk tea with golden boba 8/10 didn't love the pedals inside the drinks but it's so refreshing! Pink lychee with golden boba 10/10 it's soooo good! Lychee chunks were a bit big and didn't fit throw my straw. I didn't love their honey pearl it wasn't sweet. 8.5/10 devil pumpkin latte with cheese foam. We had 50% sweet and it was still on the sweet side. Very pumpkin flavor was good- this was $9!!!! Yelp page shows bubble waffles but I didn't see it on the menu or I must have over looked it. Wait wasn't long. No line when they open first thing in the morning. Clean and has indoor seating

Still my go-to and top recommendation for people out of town. There is always good vibes, the cashiers are friendly, and who doesn't love seeing dogs while sipping on boba!? With that said, I really want to like the Pumpkin Milk Tea with cheese foam, and decided to give it a try because I've never not liked a drink from here. Unfortunately, it just was not for me. It is very pumpkin forward, and tasted like Chinese medicine especially the first several sips. I have learned to just stick to my usuals (Osmanthus Jasmine MT, Four Season Green Tea or Oolong with Cheese Foam, or Creme Brulee MT).

First time visiting Seattle and was craving a boba drink! First I ordered their traditional milk tea with boba, but didn't realize it was brown sugar boba so it made my tea just taste like brown sugar water. The tea taste wasn't quite there, so I asked for a different drink. I ordered the osmanthus jasmine milk tea with golden boba the second time and it was a much better choice! I saw so many reviews about this drink and I understand why. It's got a good balance of tea flavor, floral notes, and not too heavy! There are bits of osmanthus petals in there as well. Thank you for the staff for remaking my drink, I really appreciate the good service even though it can be a bit annoying at times to switch drinks. I appreciate the relaxing ambience, there's plenty of seating and open space. There are also outlets for WFH. The only thing that was an issue.. was the bathroom doesn't have an occupied sign. All you need is a code to enter, no lock, so my boyfriend got walked in on while he was taking a dump! Should fix that soon!

This has to be one of the funnest names for a boba shop. As a self-proclaimed boba connoisseur (maybe just an addict), I was impressed with my drink, vibe, and name of this place. I ordered their Osmanthus Jasmine Milk Tea with Oat Milk and Brown Sugar Boba since I was feeling a little bit florally. Loved that they offered non-dairy milk options although it's nearly $1 more. The world needs to change this and just offer it as an option for those that can't have dairy. My drink was fantastic. Beverage itself is delicious and you can taste the quality of the brewed tea. Boba was cooked to perfection and use of brown sugar is a nice touch instead of the usual honey that I see, making the drink fully vegan. Don't worry - I won't be yelling at you anytime soon. Unless you enjoy being yelled at for good boba, then here I come.

Cool, chill and lowkey boba shop with a quirky and seemingly Asian-American theme I got the osmanthus Jasmine milk tea with brown sugar boba and 50% sweetness. My 2 friends each got a drink and our 3 drinks came out in a good time. The boba had a pretty good chewy texture and was actually really sweet. So it works to get a lower sweetness on the drink. At times, I felt the brown sugar flavor was a little too sweet. The tea itself was good! Mild but still with a good jasmine flavor
